Today’s workout was on the treadmill. These are the results. I set 200 calories and completed 98% of this goal. I’ll admit that this is a simple way to start counting the calories I eat. Yet I am not so driven by the amount of what I eat. It’s really been about what tastes good, is fresh and healthy.
After my return from Austin I became too relaxed. So I’m getting back to my goal of a 7-minute mile.
Although this is not a good run time for my age group, I am glad it is progress over my run time from five days ago. I ran on the treadmill then and I stopped at 1.75 miles and walked the remainder. Then I had that brutal outdoor 2.4 mile run two days ago in 111 degrees Fahrenheit.
I am proud of the progress! No hater-ation round here!
